The upcoming course will focus on the fundamentals of programming for web development. You’ve probably heard about concepts like Frontend and Backend, as well as job titles such as Frontend Developer/Engineer, Backend Developer/Engineer, and the legendary Full-Stack Developer—those who can handle both frontend and backend.

Over the course of three sessions, you’ll learn Java—a programming language long known for having one of the highest job demands in both the Australian and Vietnamese markets, as it powers backend systems for both web and mobile applications.

Compared to Python and JavaScript, Java is considered more challenging due to its complex syntax. However, mastering a more difficult language like Java makes learning others significantly easier. Many industry experts recommend Java as an ideal language for beginners who want to dive deep into programming. Moreover, Java is a solid foundation for building large-scale backend systems.

Key Information
This 3-session course is completely free and comes with the following conditions:

Target Audience:

• Designed for those with no prior programming knowledge.
• Students currently studying programming in school are not eligible, as the course covers very basic concepts.

Commitment:

• Only register if you’re committed to attending all three sessions and completing the assigned homework.
• There will be no recordings as mentors will closely guide students during each session.

Special Offer:Students registered for the Backend Intensive course will automatically be accepted into Programming Fundamentals with Java.

Schedule: All sessions: 8:00–10:00 PM (Sydney/Mel time).

With over 6 years of experience specializing in Java and a deep passion for backend development, Dũng is ready to share his expertise. A graduate of both FPT University and Flinders University in South Australia, he brings a humorous and engaging teaching style to this course. His mission is to turn dry technical concepts into enjoyable lessons, inspiring those taking their first steps into the world of programming.

Registration Details:

• Dates: February 15, 2022 – February 25, 2022.
• Due to the need for close mentorship, we can only accept a limited number of students. If the number of applicants exceeds capacity, we will close registrations early and select participants based on the responses in the registration form.
